Here is a portrait of a couple. Meet Pooja and Roshan.
Pooja is a baker who runs Flourista, a café in Mangalore famous for her beautiful cake designs. Roshan is a talented photographer, well known for capturing life's most beautiful moments — especially weddings.
What they share is a love for travelling and exploring different places and their cultures.
In this portrait, I've tried to include some of the places they've visited. But the big idea was to paint the world they create together to make their own. So I painted the entire place out of cake. The trees are made of fondant. The clouds are made of icing. And the rainbow is being created by one of the internet's first memes — Nyan Cat.
The globe Roshan is sitting on? That means they're not done exploring yet.
Here you can see my work process. After discussing the client's life and the beautiful moments they'd like to share, I come up with a concept idea that suits the painting. Then I get the photos in the required pose. That's followed by a rough pencil sketch to check if everything fits properly. Then comes the big step — painting it on the canvas.

Having worked in the creative industry for many years, I’ve changed the way I look at portraits. Now, with every portrait, I look for the story. It could be your hobbies, the things you love to do, your favorite music playlist, books you’ve loved, games you play, or simply a world from your imagination.
Here, you’ll see all of that woven together. The planet you see is an imaginary world my son created. The rocket flying toward it has the name of that world “Serkeyer” written on its side. The rocket, also designed by him, has a character all its own.
My wife loves to read, so a staircase of her favorite books leads up to her, with a glass of tea at her side.
The game characters need no introduction. The Nintendo in his hands brings the games to life. And you can also see the song playlist playing on the nostalgic Winamp player.
And finally, I’m painting all of this while staring you right in the eye.
In this video, you can get a glimpse of the process. Every painting I create is filled with fine details, crafted with utmost care and precision. It’s a time-consuming process — but I love getting everything just right.
All you need to do is share your vision or story, along with a few pictures, and get in touch. I’ll be happy to create the perfect portrait for you.

Meet Ved and Dev — two little brothers.
They were very specific about what they wanted in their painting. Ved asked me if I could paint him and his brother riding on a dragon above the mountains. When I asked him, "What kind of dragon? Do you want it to look like the dragon from the game Super Mario?"
At first, he thought Super Mario would be great. But then he changed his mind — he decided being a knight would be even better. He wanted it to be inspired by the game Zelda, so he asked me to include a castle in the far background, surrounded by a forest.
After our conversation, I got their pictures in the required pose — all shot from a phone.
Then I took about two weeks to paint it on canvas. I'm glad to say they both loved it very much. Their dad, Sunil, said it will be hung on their wall, right above their bed.
I feel very fortunate to be part of their life.
